Honestly… not the most exciting. The episode was largely centered around pre-fight preparations. Nonetheless, there were some highlights.
Episode Highlights
- Robert Whittaker met up with Beneil Dariush to train at Kings MMA. You’d be hard pressed to find two nicer guys in the UFC.
- Paulo Costa donned a pair of gold aviators with a tasteful grey tracksuit as he departed LAX. This is a trend we’d like to see other fighters hop on. Heightened style turns heads and gets more eyeballs on the UFC.
- John Wood’s joint Superbowl / Merab send off party included a glimpse of the Syndicate MMA Wrapped Ford pickup. While we love the look, we could do without the “got wood?” sticker on the rear windshield… though we understand the appeal for the man with the namesake. Truck aside, the more we get to know about the Merab, the more we like him.
